Newborn Baby Photography

I had the pleasure of getting to spend time with this sweet little girl, one morning back in November of 2012. Her parents purchased my "Watch Me Grow" package, which means I get to spend lots of photographing her growth and milestones for the first year of her life. I have just fallen head over heals for this little spark of sunshine. She has sweet and wonderful parents to start her journey with. Its these moments that I adore. Every time I look at her pictures, I realize that my cheeks are hurting from smiling so much.  I love taking pictures of babies.
I love looking for and finding knit, sewn or crochet props that really bring an image the feel I'm looking for. Ive found a couple of very talented individuals who's work I love and am constantly going back to for more. The pink outfit in this session was created by Sebby's Grandma. The yellow outfit, which is one of my all time favorites, was made by the talented Carri Crafts. Carri Crafts also happens to be local and I always love to support local business!

Yakima Newborn Photographer {Hello World}

 I'm awestruck everyday by the way that children see the world, and I can only imagine what babies dreams about. It is that thought that inspires me for every newborn session as a photographer. "What do their whimsical, sweet and pure thoughts consist of"? I try to capture a little bit of that in each photo. The calm. The peace. The innocence. The unconditional love. The hope. The imagination. The wonderful moments to be. When you allow the time to have newborn portraits or family portraits taken, you are essentially preserving a memory forever.
I love photography families. Seeing the interactions and the personalities of my clients, and then seeing those same personalities resonate in their portraits..that's the best feeling. I especially enjoy the times when extended family get together for large family pictures. I think it takes a lot of ambition and love to make that kind of a gesture as a whole for your family and for the generations to fallow.
